The IPAEA represents hundreds of journalists working in East Africa.
We have a membership of over 300 journalists who we advocate for by campaigning for press freedom and condemning targeted harassment of journalists. We also host different social networking events such as documentary screenings and panel discussions where our members come together and connect.
The Foreign Correspondents’ Association of East Africa is thrilled to learn that Kenyan journalist Yassin Juma has finally been granted bail. We look forward to the day he can be reunited with his family.
