About Us.

The International Press Association of East Africa (former Foreign Correspondents’ Association of East Africa) is a non-profit organisation representing over 300 journalists covering East Africa.

We are a registered society under The Societies Act of Kenya.

What We Do.

Advocate.

We campaign for freedom of the press in the region and lobby against the targeted harassment of our journalists.

Connect.

We host briefings and panel discussions with high-profile figures, monthly film screenings for the public and members-only networking events in Nairobi.

Support.

We offer press cards, hazardous environment and digital security training, and members-only resources on our website and Facebook.
