Our new name: the International Press Association of East Africa (IPAEA)

Our association represents hundreds of journalists working in East Africa. Our members have voted to change the association’s name to the International Press Association of East Africa (IPAEA). Formerly, it was the Foreign Correspondents Association of East Africa (FCAEA). We feel the new name better reflects the diversity of our membership and the inclusivity we are committed to. We will continue to support journalists of all nationalities reporting in the region.
