The IPAEA and Google news initiative partner to offer our members a training on AI
The International Press Association of East Africa partnered with #googlenewsinitiative to offer our members a training on AI enabled products to enhance and improve our work as journalists, as well as new features on #googlesearch that can help us factcheck and verify content online.
Our trainer was Google News Initiative fellow Ken Kiunga, who taught us how to use several tools, including Fact Check Explorer, Google Trends or Pinpoint, in order to expand our tools against disinformation and facilitate our search for information and investigations.
